Client Care Fund

What is the Client Care Fund?  The Client Care Fund (CCF) is Queensland Health funded initiative, exclusively for PLHIV in Queensland.  The purpose of CCF is assist PLHIV to  access health services, on a short term basis, within Queensland, which applicants are eligible for. 

 

You must be a registered client of Positive Directions to access the fund.  The Client Care Fund cannot provide on-going support or assistance.  The fund is designed to broker services in circumstances where no other public servie is readily available.  Personal financial aid, and emergency relief are not considered items for Client Care Fund. 

 

The Client Care Fund is overseen by the Resource Coordinator, and each application is considered by the Client Care Fund Committee. A six monthly report is generated for Queensland Health however no individual client information is disclosed at any time.  The report contains information about the types of services that the Client Care Fund paid for.
